Based on regrettably true events, The Battle of Bamber Bridge tells the shocking moment in history when American soldiers turned on each other during World War II. Following an attempt by US Commanders to segregate pubs in the English village they are stationed at, racial tensions run high and spark a violent outbreak amongst many of the soldiers. This story is told from the perspective of three Black airmen and the determined pub owner who dares to defy pushes for the segregation of her business. Heartbreaking, humorous and truthful, the despair and hope expressed in The Battle of Bamber Bridge ring just as true today as it did then. 

The Battle of Bamber Bridge received its world premiere at The Overtime Theater in San Antonio, Tx and ran from Jun. 06 - Jun. 28, 2025.

It was awarded the Best New Play/Musical Broadway World San Antonio Theatre Awards.

It was also nominated for Outstanding Original or Adapted Script by the Alamo Theatre Arts Council in 2025.
